How to resize pictures?

There are several free tools that are available to resize your image for email. below are a few links. if you know of any other, Please let me know
  • Microsoft Image Resizer - After Installed: find picture(s) that you want to resize, right click on it. you should see in the list "resize pictures." click on it and select the size you want to shrink the image(s) to. click ok and that's it. A new file should appear.
  • VSO Image Rezizer - If for some weird reason the above tool doesn't work then you can try this.
  • Image Resizer for Vista Users - If you are using Vista and want a cool tool, try this. I installed it and I'm happy with the result. Not as good as microsoft image resizer powertoy but it does the job as well.

How to Import Picture into a Newsletter Using Outlook Express/ Windows Mail

Background info:

  • Image placement in outlook express is similar to Image placement using Microsoft word, with a few limitations…
  • Image can be inserted either before or after the letter is written.
  • It is always best to import an image built to specifications with all titles made
(… so if your going to stretch the size of the image from 4 by 6 to a smaller size, it would be best to go into adobe and build the image based on the smaller complete size. )

Steps

  1. Go to Insert > Select pictures> Browse
  2. After image is found Go to layout within picture panel> go to alignment
  3. Choose Right or left dependent on where you want the image
  4. click ok
  5. Click and drag the image to the place you want it.
